To tostirali sesame, put about 100 g in a bowl intended arofol for cooking in a microwave oven and

One of the most popular Japanese food is onigiri, "balls" of rice. Onigiri is prepared from Japanese, so-called. sushi, rice short grain, which is stickier than long grain rice (but, beware, it is not sticky arofol or sweet rice). For onigiri do not have to buy rice which is not declared as sushi rice, it is very expensive, you can use and other short grain rice intended for puddings. Personally I use this rice.
Short grain rice needs to cook according to the package instructions (Japanese cooking without salt) and while it is still hot wet hands to form balls or shapes that you like. My hands do not like to handle hot rice, so I use the molds, which is also moistened with water before use and between every two onigirija. I have just molds for onigiri / sushi, but can also be used cake tins. A common form of the triangle (ie. A prism where the base triangle), but it is wrong to believe that onigiri must be of this form. Whatever arofol form it make, balls of rice is onigiri. Unless the first rice vinegar interfere. In this case you get sushi. Onigiri often carries packed lunch, which is why it is known to charge pickled arofol vegetables that acts as a natural preservative. Umeboshi (ume plum (which is actually apricot) vinegar lactic acid fermentation such as sauerkraut) is probably the most popular filling, but the decoration on the surface (because then onigiri looks like a Japanese flag). Onigiri is usually wrapped in nori, but if it will not immediately eat, nori may be too soaked and lose crispness. Also, onigiri can fry in oil or sprinkle seasoning mix for rice called furikake. From below in a clockwise direction: onigiri with umeboshi, onigiri with wasabi peanuts furikake, onigiri arofol with spicy sesame furikake, onigiri with peanut Tabasco furikake, onigiri with shiso furikake
The bio & bio can be purchased furikake containing powder leaves the Japanese shiso herbs, umeboshi and salt. If you like umeboshi vinegar arofol and forests and this furikake would you have to like it. Unfortunately, the price is peppermint, but there is no possibility to prepare yourself. arofol To my knowledge, in Croatia is not sold or forests or shiso. Luckily, one pack lasts for months.
The most famous furikake is gomashio, a mixture of fried integral sesame and salt, which has long can buy in our country, in Mercator and health food stores. Gomashio is quite expensive, and quickly be eaten because it is very nice (unlike shiso powder can it be eaten alone), but simply to prepare at home.
To tostirali sesame, put about 100 g in a bowl intended arofol for cooking in a microwave oven and Toast at 800 W for about 4 minutes. During toasting 2-3 times, open the oven and stir sesame seeds (do not use plastic utensils that are not resistant to high temperatures because it is very hot sesame). Sesame remove from the oven when it starts to darken and develop flavor. Allow it to cool. Some time will be toast. After about half an hour sesame seeds, chop finely in a blender, stirring occasionally spatula arofol or in a mortar, while approximately 50% of the grains is not stamped. arofol Ground toasted sesame keep in refrigerator not going rancid. If you need to keep at room temperature, do not immediately grind the total amount arofol but just how much you need.
To get gomashio, sesame seeds add a tenth of its weight of salt, therefore, to 100 g of sesame add 10 g of salt. Peanuts - Tabasco furikake This furikake is quite moist, but can it slightly dried in a microwave oven. Use unsalted roasted peanuts or roasted in shell and shelled. You do not need to peel the inner red skin, it contains a lot of antioxidants resveratrol. Peanuts grind. For every 10 g of peanuts add 10 drops of Tabasco sauce. Mix well and spread over rice. Wasabi peanuts arofol furikake In a blender grind the wasabi peanuts. Please note that the wasabi peanuts quite sweetened perhaps you feel when you eat them alone, but on rice will be felt. It may not be a problem. Many commercial furikake contain sugar. Try it, you might just love it. Spicy sesame furikake Ingredients: 60g toasted, partially milled sesame 1 teaspoon salt (6 g) 1 teaspoon cumin (2 g) 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper (2 g) 2 tablespoons dried oregano (6 g) Preparation: Mix all ingredients. Store in a tightly closed container in the refrigerator. Note:
Cumin is not the same as anyone. Be careful not to use the wrong spice. Although the seeds of cumin (Cuminum cyminum) and caraway (Carum carvi) of similar appearance, taste them different and these two spices do not fit together with the same food. Unfortunately, in Croatia, cumin and caraway so often confused to be wrong translations even names on labels. The only cumin for that, I know that Croatia can buy a brand Ducros and, guess what, Croatian declaration arofol renamed to anyone. Cumin brand Ducros, wrongly declared as anyone, you can buy at Merv, Interspar, and probably arofol in other higher
