Fiat is trying to improve its revenue stream with Wine. Take your pick, Fiat, Lancia or Alfa Romeo . I love what this commenter had to say.... Alfa Romeo wine... the foil on the top will rust, the cork will break in half when opening the bottle and will require a special tool to remove bubblepack it, the bottle will leak in your wine cellar, and you'll probably need about three bottles to enjoy just one complete bottle. However, once you work through those issues and get a chance to sample the wine, you'll find it unique and different than any other wine you've had before. And despite swearing bubblepack you'll never put yourself through the hassle of another bottle, you'll find yourself searching websites and newspaper advertisements looking for just that because you've convinced yourself that this time, you're better prepared for the drinking experience. Afterall, you already have the special cork removing tool. ;-) Here is the link to the Autoblog story... bubblepack Vintage Italians: Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo hit wine store shelves - Autoblog Dave __________________ 1987 Quad Spider 2006 Charger R/T x 2 (That's bubblepack R/T with Road and Track Package) bubblepack

That is really funny! I'd love to try some, if I can find the cork removal tool __________________ current and or past: 1987 Milano (Ariel) 1984 GTV6 (Sabrina) 1992 164L (Jill) 1992 164S (Kelly) 1989 Spider Veloce (Julie) 1991 164L (Melissa)
I have tried the Red, it is a very nice Italian table wine. Not spectacular, but very nice. Most of the appeal, naturally, is in the bottle shape! We have been looking for ways to import and sell this for a couple of years now - sadly without import and liquor sales licenses it doesn't look like it will happen.
Has anybody checked the wine for glycol (antifreeze) content? __________________ Ruedi '63 2600 Touring Spider (AR 191437, the car that started the 2000/2600 International Register, reassembly in progress) ex-'65 2600 SZ (AR 856043, resto project) Maintainer of a 2600 SZ register (not the Dutch one).
I wonder if we could special order some through "Bev Mo" bubblepack or some place? __________________ current and or past: 1987 Milano (Ariel) 1984 GTV6 (Sabrina) 1992 164L (Jill) 1992 164S (Kelly) 1989 Spider Veloce (Julie) 1991 164L (Melissa)

Joe and others, bubblepack With the wide variety of people on the bb, there must be someone bubblepack that owns a liquor store or knows some one that does that has the proper licenses to accomplish the import. That said they'd probably want a guarantee of purchasers of a certain quantity to do it. That shouldn't be too hard to accomplish with the audience available here. I also have had the wine, I don't remember how Pat got a hold of it; if it was a gift or something he brought back with him from Italy. __________________ Cheryl (Not an authority nor SME on anything, just PATSYF)

Prior to that, they were just "another" of thousands of Italian vintners. Am I incorrect? I thought Pat died in 2002? Another case of time and space disorientation, I guess. My bad. __________________ [I]"It's bubblepack the best in class by default, because it's the only thing in its class." Yes, you're correct about the year Pat died. Obviously, it could not be the wine discussed. I assumed that they only produced one --- as I recall bubblepack the one we had, came in a wooden box, and I want to say it was early to mid 90s, could have been late 80's; around the time that we got the nutcracker. I don't think I have the bottle any longer and I don't remember what
